The Reproductive Justice Briefing Book
A study guide of the SisterSong Women of Color Reproductive Health Collective and The Pro-Choice Public Education Project ‘The Reproductive Justice Briefing Book: A Primer on Reproductive Justice and Social Change.’
This study guide was written by Hannah Ball and edited by Katya Zabelski, Gari De Ramos, and Sage Reynolds.
The Reproductive Justice Briefing Book provides readers with extensive examples of the various intersections of reproductive justice with other liberation movements. From disability rights and immigration to environmental justice and abortion, this briefing book discusses how reproductive justice impacts us all and what we can do to pursue it collectively and in our own lives.
Editor’s Note: The team at Radical in Progress recognizes that The Reproductive Justice Briefing Book was composed in 2007 and often utilizes gendered, cis-normative language that does not account for nonbinary gender identities or the reproductive experiences of gender-variant people. We critique this aspect of the original text and welcome discussion and analysis on how the points made in the work may be affected by and/or intersect with modern, gender-inclusive discussions surrounding reproductive justice.
